There is a known release timeframe for 2025. This would disappoint many fans who wanted this in 2024. Alas.
The teaser reveals two protagonists and hints at others. A female and male pair resemble Bonnie and Clyde. Lucia, the female half, begins the trailer from prison.
GTA VI takes place in Leonida, a fictitious Florida. The site seems to be a scaled-up Vice City with beaches, swampland, and neighboring locations.
GTA5 embraced the smartphone. The clip shows Instagram/Tik Tok panels highlighting events in GTA6, suggesting social media will be a big feature.
First-person? In one scene, a police raid is seen in first person. This may be body cam footage or an indication of that mode’s return.
There are animals and fauna. The earth is beautiful with birds and animals. One photo showed a little dog going down the beach, while the other showed several alligators. One exiting a pool and one entering a business. GTA standard fare?
Parties. It seems everyone is having fun. As usual with the series, there will be much to do in-game. Parties, strip clubs, nightclubs, racial gatherings, and dirt are hinted at.
Expect all your dream cars. From quad bikes to jets to hoverboats to trucks, the trailer appears full. Future trailers will likely have more of them.
Story. Yes, the story. GTA has always been story-driven, whether it’s your campaign or your globe travels. We just hear a few sentences at the beginning and finish. But it suggests an epic drama I can’t wait to perform.
Grand Theft Auto VI’s video showcases a bright and exciting world to explore. It promises to build on our favorite elements of the series and send us on another epic journey we’ll spend hours in. I can’t wait. Hello 2025.
